A North Carolina Baby Shower
Last weekend we had my baby shower, hosted by my mom and step-mom. It was a ton of fun. I had a chance to snap a couple of pictures before guests arrived and I thought I would share.
The food and decor were both GREAT!

Aren’t the prize bags SO cute!
My mom made the most amazing truffles. There weren’t many left and the ones that were left were eaten by a man whose name starts with a J and ends with and OSH.
Check out this AWESOME diaper cake! I have to say, it kind of looks like a real cake.

The food was amaz-ing. Check out those cupcakes from White Oak Bakery in Jacksonville, NC. I am not usually a cake and icing kind of girl BUT these were the BEST cupcakes I have ever had. Umm…I have made cupcakes before, and now I am ashamed. Blanket “sorry” out there to anyone who has eaten my cupcakes, now I know what real cupcakes taste like.
I save my favorite for last. My mom made the most awesome onesie floral arrangements. There are flowers yes…AND the onesies are rolled up on stems with green floral tape and look like roses. OMG. Do you see them? Do you see the onesie roses? Best.idea.ever!

I have the onesie arrangements and have been trying to find time to deconstruct one to do a tutorial for you guys. These would make excellent decorations or gifts for a baby shower.
Do you all have any great baby shower ideas? Please share.

I hate it when the boys polish off the best food!
