The Greatest DIY Project Ever!

I’m BACK!

Whoop, Whoop!

Are you all wondering where I have been since my last post?  The Cheddar Corn Muffins post…whatta post to disappear on…

So it all started with something I (and the doctors) like to call Gallstone Pancreatitis.  About two weeks before I had Willow (yes, I had her) I had really excruciating, rip your eye balls out pain in my sternum.  Josh rushed me to the emergency room and that is where I stayed for 5 days.

A week and a half later, after a routine trip to the doctor they decided to induce me with an hours notice to be at the hospital.  After a really interesting day and a half we had our baby girl.

Willow Grace Stanley

8 lbs. 3oz.  21 inches long

She is 6 weeks old now and SO cute.  Of course, y’all know that I couldn’t wait to get out my camera and take some pictures of this baby girl. Here she is at 4 weeks.

Great picture but that’s not the end of the story…

Two weeks ago (Willow was 4 weeks) I had to go in for surgery to remove my gallbladder.  While I was in there they decided to take out my appendix as well.  So, for the last two weeks I have been recovering from that.

Now…I am back!

The last 6 weeks has been great with baby Willow.  Copper and Bagger love her.  When we lay her on the floor Bagger brings her all kinds of toys.  He piles them up around her.

I have missed all my bloggity blog friends!  I am so excited to be back on the attack jack.  I don’t think I will be back every day but at least a few times a week.  Later this week I will share everything I have been up to in my absence.  Yes, I am still doing projects.  Did you think I would stop just because of a little gallstone pancreatits/child birth/2 organs removed?  Uh…no.

Like I said in an earlier post…baby in one hand, power drill in the other.  That’s how you do it.  That’s how I do it anyway.

I worried life had thrown some dramatic turn your way but hoped your cheddar biscuits had been such a hit that you’d become rich overnight and didn’t need the blogosphere any more. I’m glad you’re on the way to health and can’t wait to read more about the beautiful new addition to your family!

Ugh! I had gallstones in my liver and I hated being alive then! My sister just had hers out 2.5 months after having here baby.

Glad to hear you’re recovering. Your baby is adorable!
